BitesnBuzz began at a roadside attraction in Gaffney, South Carolina. We were headed to Spartanburg, SC to checkout RJ Rockers Brewing Company when several of our friends on Facebook told us we should visit and video a huge water tower that looked like a peach. Seriously…a peach.

It’s called the Peachoid and apparently most of the world learned of its existence while binge watching House of Cards on Netflix.

So, we stopped, snapped some shots, uploaded the video and watched it go viral. A peach…

It was while we were watching how excited our friends were about our travels; as well as our taste in brew, that we decided we needed to take it a step further. Why not post all the awesomeness in the Carolina’s and beyond?

We love Craft Beer, whimsical attractions, day trips, hikes, food, and everything else that makes living in the South such fun.

And so it began….

We are on a quest to visit, partake, and talk with the 100s of breweries in the Carolina’s and beyond. How cool is it that we can stop and take crazy pictures with awesome Americana and then get a great Craft Beer to sip while we share our adventures with you.

But, we want to take it one step further. In the coming months we will be visiting with leaders in the craft beer and home brew communities to talk about their brews and where the craft industry is headed. We will also be meeting with the best food trucks, restaurants, pubs, BBQ’rs, and more.
