When the Thirsty Nomad Brewing Company opened its doors at 4402 Stuart Andrew Blvd A in Charlotte in mid-2016, they nearly ran out of beer the first day. Lines of adventurous craft beer aficionados descended on this Queen City Nano-Brewery and lapped up beer creations usually unknown in the area. Fortunately, owner / brewer Brad Ledbetter believes sleep is overrated and quickly brewed up some new recipes to satisfy Charlotte’s insatiable craft beer thirst.
A year later, the steampunk inspired brewery and taproom is still cranking out amazingly original recipes inspired by Brad’s ever evolving palate. In point of fact, Thirsty Nomad’s wizard of wort has caused our palates to ebb and flow so much it is impossible to say what our favorite style of beer will be when this eclectic brewery turns 2 a year from now.
