Sugar Creek Brewery / Trackside Crafts Hit Home-run with Collaboration Saison

Charlotte area beer aficionados were treated to a unique collaboration beer this past Saturday from two of the Queen City’s most well-known craft beer connoisseur’s.  Sugar Creek Brewing Company CEO and Advanced Cicerone Joe Vogelbacher, and Pineville’s Trackside Craft’s Owner and Certified Cicerone Kit Burkholder released a small batch Farmhouse Saison  succinctly named the “Trackside Farmhouse” Ale / Saison.

The extremely smooth and well-balanced 6.7% ABV Saison was tapped and kicked in under 2-hours leaving many to speculate if this was just the beginning of a soon to be series of collaborative beers.  According to Kit Burkholder, the Trackside Farmhouse was very well received and he hopes to brew and bottle the beer on a larger scale in the near future.

For now Crown Town Craft Beer lovers will have to wait for future small batches of this decadent delight which for now will only be seen at Kit’s Trackside Crafts (330 Main St, Pineville, NC) and Sugar Creek Brewing Company (215 Southside Dr, Charlotte, NC).
