This wasn’t our first rodeo at a City BBQ and it won’t be my last. City Barbeque recently opened a new location in the University area of Charlotte, NC (8948 J M Keynes Dr Suite 420). We were invited by our friends at Yelp Charlotte to check it out: we were not disappointed.
Benford Brewing Co. ~ Lancaster, SC
Bryan O’Neal and the crew at Benford Brewing in Lancaster, SC have taken craft brew in the Carolina’s to a whole new level.
The brewery itself is located on a farm (2271 Boxcar Rd) in the beautiful countryside south of Charlotte in Lancaster County. As South Carolina’s only certified agricultural brewery, Benford is a perfect getaway for those who want to escape the typical brewery set up. Be prepared to kick back with “family” and enjoy great conversations while tossing back a few brews back. Although they are only open only on Saturdays, but do offer several family friendly events throughout the year with live music, giant beer pong and wheelbarrow racing.

The Craft Stand in Lancaster, SC (134 S Main St) has the largest selection of Craft Beer anywhere just south of Charlotte!
Opened by Don & Brandy Geraghty in 2016, the Craft Stand folks are always on the lookout for the best. SO, if YOU want to weed out the rest, VISIT the best! #Kudos 👊🍻
