The Dreamchaser’s Brewery ~ Waxhaw, NC
With nearly 30 breweries in the Charlotte area, Queen City craft beer enthusiasts have lots of choices. But, sometimes the most interesting places to visit are well off the beaten path.
The Dreamchaser’s Brewery opened its doors in May 2016 just Southeast of Charlotte on the North Carolina / South Carolina border in the town of Waxhaw, North Carolina. We took a trip to Waxhaw to meet Neal and Anita Gimon about this craft beer way station that is quickly becoming a favorite for beer aficionados from both sides of the Carolina’s.
The Craft Stand ~ Lancaster, SC
We stopped in at The Craft Stand located at 134 S Main St, in Lancaster, South Carolina to meet up with its proprietors, Don & Brandy Geraghty. The much anticipated addition to the downtown area officially opens its doors on August 25th at noon with a Tap Takeover by Benford Brewing.
Fresh Med Food Truck ~ Charlotte, NC
Food Trucks have become all the rage. Their ability to setup quickly and to deliver a quality product fast makes them a wonderful option for all sorts of activities, including festivals, parties, gatherings, rallies, sporting events, and even weddings. But today’s eateries on wheels are much more than the corner hot dog vendor of yesterday.
These mobile behemoths often incorporate professional kitchens complete with all the cooking, baking, and frying tools (and gadgets) found in top brick and mortar restaurants.

We took a trip out to Boone, NC to help the Booneshine Brewing Company located at 246 Wilson Drive celebrate their one year anniversary. Who doesn’t like a party?
