It’s called the Dragon Moonshine Company and according to co-owners Chris Wagner and Richard Lavin, they started Charlotte’s newest distillery in order to put some fire in your belly.
We stopped by their distillery at 516 E. 15th Street, suite 14B (facing N. Davidson) for the launch of their first offering: an 80 proof Silver Rum.
A Degree in Better Beer?
Yes, you can get a degree in beer! Tim Herdklotz, co-owner of Booneshine Brewing Company, Inc. in Boone, NC says their brewery works with the Appalachian State University Fermentation Sciences Program to help make their Craft Beer even better.
