Hyde Brewing Co. ~ Charlotte, NC

They may be one of the new kids on the block, but The Hyde Brewing Company and Suffolk Punch Restaurant in Charlotte has put its own twist on the Queen City’s craft beer scene.

We stopped in at this COMBINATION Coffee shop / Taproom / Restaurant & Fermentation lab located at 2911 Griffith St in South End Charlotte and discovered what best can be described as a culinary experience.

Offering Coffee on tap as early as 07:30AM weekdays, Commuters taking the rail can partake in some morning delight just steps away from the NEW BERN LYNX Station on the Rail Trail.

Founded by Dan Hyde, Colin Ricks, and Glen Cherry, this restaurant/brewery opened its doors in Mid-2017 and offers a rotating seasonal day and evening menu as well as a weekend brunch. YUM!

If you are a brewery aficionado and want to wet your whistle, Hyde has 48 local taps, including 14 of their very own concoctions that they developed in their onsite Fermentation lab just upstairs from the restaurant . Wine, and other cocktails are available for the less enlighten, but if you are looking for shots, look elsewhere.

Four-legged friends are allowed in their expansive outdoor Beer Garden which nearly doubles the size of the restaurant.  It can be enclosed or opened up to the elements on those gorgeous North Carolina days. Children are permitted as well if you lean that way.

Open seven days a week you could show up everyday and have a completely different dining or drinking experience. Check them out online for hours and updated menu items. They’re also on social media.
